Do I Have to Tip on my Cruise Vacation?

Tipping is decided by you. Some cruise lines add tips automatically, but you can request that they be altered or removed by contacting the purser’s desk. About $10.00 per day/per person is customary…and this amount is spread between your room steward, busboy, waiter, etc. On most cruise lines it is also customary to tip $1 or $2 each time you have room-service deliver something to your stateroom.  Once you experience the level of service on a cruise vacation, you will probably be happy to tip these amounts or even more.
