How do Cruise Ships Compare to the Titanic?

Modern cruise ships range from about the same size as the Titanic to some that are more than 3 times larger than the Titanic.  The Titanic was about 882 feet long and weighed 46,000 tons and carried 2,500 people.

For comparison, the Carnival Destiny is 892 ft long, so even this relatively small cruise ship is larger than the Titanic.  The Oasis of the Seas (currently the largest cruise ship in the world) weighs 222,900 gross tons and is 1,184 feet long.  Columbus's ship, the Santa Maria, was about 100ft long and Noah's Ark was about 500 ft long.
